Southern Cross University is a public university in Australia, established in 1994, with its main campuses at Lismore and Coffs Harbour in northern New South Wales and at Coolangatta on the Gold Coast.
The university operates satellite campuses in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. In 2024 it ranked among the top one hundred universities in the world under fifty years old, and by 2026 had entered the Times Higher Education top five hundred globally. QS World University Rankings named it the most improved institution in Oceania in 2026. Since its founding, Southern Cross University has produced more than eighty thousand graduates.
