Victoria Falls.

Victoria Falls is a resort town in Matabeleland North province, Zimbabwe, situated on the southern bank of the Zambezi River at the western end of the Victoria Falls waterfall.

With a population of 35,199 recorded in the 2022 census, the town serves as the main base for visitors to one of Africa’s greatest natural spectacles. Commonly known as Vic Falls, it has grown from a colonial outpost into a hub for adventure tourism and wildlife exploration, offering access not only to the falls themselves but to the broader Zambezi ecosystem. Its position at the edge of the cataract makes it a natural staging point for expeditions into the river valleys, national parks and wilderness areas that define this corner of southern Africa.
