Alice Morrison is a Scottish adventurer, author, and TV presenter known for her epic expeditions across Africa and the Middle East. Based in the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco, she has earned the nickname “Indiana Jones for Girls” for her daring journeys and storytelling prowess.

🌍 Early Life & Career

Born in Edinburgh in 1963, Alice spent her early years in Africa, growing up in Uganda and Ghana. She studied Arabic and Turkish at the University of Edinburgh and later worked in journalism, including roles at the BBC and as CEO of Vision+Media. In her late 40s, she left her corporate career to pursue full-time adventuring.

  • Tour d’Afrique: Cycled 12,000 km from Cairo to Cape Town, finishing as the third woman.
