The Tour du Mont Blanc is a long-distance hiking route that circles the Mont Blanc massif through France, Italy and Switzerland.
Covering roughly 165 kilometres with 10 kilometres of ascent and descent, the TMB is considered one of the classic long-distance walks in Europe. The circular route is typically walked counter-clockwise over nine to fourteen days, threading through alpine valleys, high passes and mountain villages across three countries. The same trail also serves as the course for the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc, an annual ultramarathon in which runners attempt the entire distance in under 46 hours and 30 minutes.
