Stefano Ghisolfi.

Stefano Ghisolfi is an Italian professional rock climber who competes across lead, bouldering and speed disciplines, and climbs hard sport routes and boulder problems outdoors.

Born in 1993, Ghisolfi specialises in competition lead climbing but maintains a strong outdoor sport climbing practice. He has redpointed routes graded 9b+ (5.15c), onsighted 8c (5.14b), and completed boulder problems at 8C (V15). In December 2018 he became the fourth climber in history to redpoint a 9b+ route when he completed Perfecto Mundo. His ability to perform at the upper limits of both competition and outdoor climbing places him among a small group of athletes who excel in multiple formats of the sport, moving between the controlled environment of World Cup circuits and the variable conditions of limestone crags and granite boulders.

He is mentioned in Field Notes: Janja Garnbret climbs Bibliographie (9b+) at Céüse, which covers another significant ascent at the same technical grade.
