Mission Possible is a Christian humanitarian organisation and community economic development agency operating in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside district since 1992.
The organisation supports individuals facing poverty through employment training, individual coaching and transitional work opportunities. Mission Possible runs two social enterprises—MP Maintenance and MP Neighbors—that provide practical pathways to sustainable livelihoods. Participants engage in an Employment Readiness Program that combines skill development with hands-on work experience. The model centres on what the organisation calls empowerment through opportunity, treating employment as a stabilising force for people navigating homelessness, addiction or other barriers. Operating in one of Canada’s most marginalised urban communities, Mission Possible addresses economic exclusion through dignified work rather than charity alone.
