The Navy.

The Navy was a magazine published by the Navy League of Great Britain from 1909 to 1971, covering maritime affairs, naval history and Britain’s relationship with the sea.

Spanning more than six decades, the publication served as the official voice of the Navy League, an organisation dedicated to promoting awareness of maritime issues and supporting naval personnel. The magazine chronicled a period of profound change in naval warfare and exploration, from the battleship era through two world wars to the nuclear age. Its pages documented expeditions, technological advances in seafaring, and the strategic importance of ocean routes that underpinned both military operations and the global movement of naturalists, explorers and scientific expeditions during the twentieth century.
