Link Sar is a mountain in the Masherbrum sub-range of the Karakoram, positioned between the head of the Charakusa Glacier and the Kaberi Glacier in Pakistan.
The peak sits on a horseshoe ridge that connects K6 and K7 around the upper basin of the Charakusa Glacier, placing it within one of the Karakoram’s most technical and remote climbing zones. The Masherbrum sub-range contains some of the world’s most challenging unclimbed peaks, where steep faces, unpredictable weather and difficult access have deterred repeated attempts. Link Sar’s position on the connecting ridge between two named giants reflects the complexity of Karakoram geography, where secondary summits often present greater objective difficulty than their better-known neighbours.
