Graham Zimmerman is a Piolet d’Or-winning alpinist, filmmaker, climate advocate, and author of the memoir A Fine Line. Born in New Zealand and raised in the Pacific Northwest of the USA, Zimmerman’s career spans epic first ascents in the Karakoram, Alaska Range, and beyond. He is known for his deep reflections on resilience, community, and balancing ambition with survival. Beyond climbing, Zimmerman serves as the Director of Athlete Alliances at Protect Our Winters (POW), driving systemic solutions to climate change through the outdoor community. His voice, vision, and philosophy continue to shape the future of adventure and environmental stewardship.
